Join Kate Kuss and the PYI yoga therapy faculty for an online training in therapeutic yin yoga. We’ll explore and practice how to teach and apply yin therapeutically. We'll cover yin poses, the meridians, meditation techniques, subtle body awareness, modifying for aging adults, and overall self-care.

KATE KUSS, ERYT500,YACEP (YIN THERAPEUTICS)
Kate Kuss has been teaching yoga and meditation for almost a decade. She started practicing yoga during the start of her media and advertising career in New York City. While working for top companies in the industry, Kate found yoga as a way to release from the everyday stress that came with along with the responsibilities. The more she practiced yoga, the more she was able to handle projects, personalities and expectations. Kate wanted to pass along the learnings to help others so she started teaching yoga. Her classes are non-judgmental, authentic and provide the ancient wisdom of the yoga culture. Kate teaches in a style that pushes students to break their boundaries and build flexibility and strength.
Kate has completed over 2,000 hours of yoga training that include topics ranging from the physical body to the mental and emotional bodies. She’s classically trained in meditation in the Saraswati order by Yogi Charu. Kate’s biggest inspiration for her physical classes comes from Bryan Kest whose philosophy is to do less, not more. Kate is well known for her Yin trainings and classes where she teaches in the vibe of Paulie Zink, the original Yin Yoga teacher.
Kate has a passion for training teachers and leads teacher trainings in Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra. She also nurtures new teachers and helps them find their teaching voice. Kate pushes her students and teacher trainees to do the work and provides guidance on how to live a modern yogi lifestyle. Kate is recognized for her honest approach and her personal journey of being fearless both on and off the mat.
AMANBIR SINGH, LMT, LAC, ERYT500, BSE, MSTOM
(GUEST TEACHER: ACUPRESSURE, NADIS AND MERIDIANS)
Amanbir is a yoga teacher and licensed acupuncturist based in New York City. Known for his sense of humor, music, and extensive knowledge of the healing field, he offers a direct and fun approach to the healing dynamics of yoga. He has been teaching for 13 years and holds Level 2 status at the Kundalini Research Institute. Additionally, he has completed 300 hours of yoga therapy training with I-SKY, an IAYT Member School, and guest teaches in its modules.
Amanbir currently shares his in-depth understanding of energetic and physical anatomy in trainings worldwide. He serves as one of the lead teachers and directors of Golden Bridge Yoga trainings around the world. He teaches at many major yoga festivals including Sat Nam Fest, Wanderlust, Yoga Journal conference, and Kripalu.
He has produced three music albums: “Akal Groove” and "African Soul and Jaap," that capture his modern embrace of the ancient sound current of mantras. He holds a Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the Cooper Union.
Renee Harriston
Yoga Therapist Candidate & RYT500
Renee Harriston is a yoga teacher and student at Prema Yoga Institute. She holds certifications in Advanced Mental Health: Trauma and Addiction and DAO Yin Yoga: Functional Alignment and Sequencing Module.
She is a Prema Breath Coach, a yoga therapist candidate & has been teaching yin yoga and therapeutic yoga to aging students for over 3 years.

Andréa Borrero
Andréa Borrero is an E-RYT 500 hour Certified Yoga Instructor, with over 2000+ hours of training. She is passionate about the innate body intelligence we all possess and believes anatomy is a way to connect deeper to our own personal journey. She brings an ever-expanding knowledge of bodywork and physiology to her classes and private sessions, specializing in Thai Yoga Bodywork and Marma Point Therapy. Andrea is also a Certified Personal Trainer through NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine,) and
currently working on her Herbalism and Integrative Nutrition Health Coach certifications.
